The goal of the Welcome Ministry is to see church become a fun and friendly place as members learn one another’s names. The purpose of our Welcome Ministry is to foster a welcoming environment for the people of God, especially, the new faces in our midst. We are reminded of this in God's Word Romans 15:7: "Welcome one another, therefore, as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God".
Welcome people, pass out a bulletin and / or direct them as needed.
Smile and greet people at the Welcome Center and answer questions.
Welcome, sit with and serve guest refreshements. Assist guests with ministry information, and help them find meaningful connections within the church.
Net-Menders call guests who have expressed an interest in follow-up. They pray with them, assist them with ministry information, and help them find meaningful connections within the church.
Ushers minister in the services by seating people, collecting offerings, greeting guests as they arrive, answering general questions and eliminating distractions inside the sanctuary.
We're looking for men and women who are responsible and reliable, who like talking with and providing direction for others. Ushers are needed for all regularly scheduled services and for most special events.
